Description
A delicious and healthy take on traditional Käsespätzle, perfectly prepared in an Airfryer for a crispy texture with less fat.

- 250g Spätzle
- 200g Käse (z.B. Emmentaler oder Gouda)
- 1 Zwiebel
- 100ml Sahne
- Salz
- Pfeffer
- Butter
Instructions
- Slice the onion into rings and sauté in a pan with some butter until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cook the Spätzle according to package instructions and drain.
- Mix the Spätzle with cream, grated cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Transfer the cheese mixture into the Airfryer basket, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the sautéed onions.
- Bake at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a healthier version, consider using low-fat cheese or less cheese. Gluten-free Spätzle can also be used for a gluten-free option.
