A healthy and quick dish featuring tender salmon glazed with teriyaki sauce and paired with vibrant steamed broccoli.
Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup low-sodium teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Create the teriyaki glaze by whisking together teriyaki sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper, then place salmon fillets on it. Season with salt and pepper and brush teriyaki glaze over each fillet.
- Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Steam broccoli florets in boiling water for 5-7 minutes until tender yet vibrant green.
- Serve the salmon with steamed broccoli, garnishing with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
Marinate the salmon in the teriyaki glaze for additional flavor. Be careful not to overcook the salmon for best texture.
